Have you ever tried NaNoWriMo? Yeah, no way. It's like the worst possible challenge for me. You need to have at least some consistency to your writing schedule to do that, which is something I lack so bad, it's not even funny. I mean I might spent four to five hours one day and fill page after page and then for the next to days I can't even get around to opening the doc.
It's like taking the best parts of Staal/Skinner and Carter/Richards I hadn't even realized the Carter/Richards thing, but now you mentioned it, I can totally see it!
I guess I should've specified that I'm talking about Mikko, not Saku, but honestly, it didn't even occur to me that it'd be necessary. Mostly because I don't know of any points of connection between Saku and Granlund (other than the general of both being Finnish hockey players, which granted, is a big one in it's self) where as Mikko and Granlund have boatloads of them. I may or may not be working on a primer on the subject. It may or may not be ready to post this weekend..
And because Saku for me, is part of the "childhood heroes" group, and I just can't think about shipping him with anyone without feeling weird and somewhat creeped out. It's like thinking about my sisters' sex-life, I can acknowledge that it's must be something that has happened, since they've managed to breed, but that all I want to know on the subject. :D
