I know the feeling of getting choked up and panicked by challenges though. Have you ever tried NaNoWriMo? It's the one writing challenge I manage to do on a consistent basis and it's usually tons of fun.
It's just I've been doodling with an idea for a Koivu/Granlund fic For the record, I would read the hell out of this. Age difference + long-distance feels? This sounds like the best thing ever. It's like taking the best parts of Staal/Skinner and Carter/Richards and now I kind of ship it already and I don't even know which Koivu you're talking about.
Someone please tell me that trying to get someone to lend me a car for tomorrow so I could ride 200 kilometer just to watch an exhibition hockey game is not worth it. I'd say it's not worth it, but honestly, I'd probably do the same thing (except for my lack of a drivers-license).
