Yeah, my current plan is apparently to start working on an outline/general plot thing, possibly get some writing started and, if it seems like it might actually turn into a proper story, sign up. It seems like the best plan for not just giving up a week in and hiding in a corner for the next year. So I guess I'm doing it? Kinda? (PS I blame you for this!)
Ah, okay, then NaNo probably wouldn't work very well for you ^_^ I've pretty much perfected the art of sticking to a writing schedule during November (and November only), but if that way of writing doesn't work for you, then NaNo won't be much fun.
My knowledge of Finnish hockey players is pretty limited, which is why I was all "But there's two Koivu!" (also, what is Google?). I may or may not be working on a primer on the subject. It may or may not be ready to post this weekend.. Ahahahahaha! I was going to say that you should make a primer on them, but then I figured you might have enough stuff to work on anyway and didn't want to be pushy. Glad to see I don't have to be passive-aggressively dropping hints for the next few weeks =D
And because Saku for me, is part of the "childhood heroes" group, and I just can't think about shipping him with anyone without feeling weird and somewhat creeped out. Oh God, I know that feeling. The first hockey fic I ever read was a het fic, starring Mats Sundin and I have never back-spaced that quickly in my life. I didn't read anything with hockey in it for years after that.
no subject
